September News

  1. Missing Cat – My black cat Milan disappeared Sunday afternoon, so I hope someone has seen her. Attached is a photo, but she's bigger is real life (~15 pounds). Please keep an eye out on East Lake Desire Road. Thank you. Submitted by Dorothy Paun, 425.503.0234, to.e@comcast.net.
  2. Fairwood Bank of America Robbed  - Fairwood Bank of America has been added to the list of banks recently robbed in the Puget Sound area. The bank was robbed September 3rd by what the Sheriff has identified as a black male, late 40s, unshaven, and about 6'0" tall. The suspect used a note and no gun was seen. He fled on foot.
  3. Back to School - Kent Teachers approved the most recent contract and school began today, September 15.  Please drive slowly in our neighborhood as many kids will be walking on our roads.
  4. Dog-attack victims wait days or weeks for response - King County Animal Care and Control's ability to respond to calls of vicious dogs and dog bites has deteriorated in recent years in large part because of a 2007 mandate from the Metropolitan King County Council to aggressively pursue animal-cruelty cases and improve conditions at its Kent shelter. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/localnews
